Month five in Omaha
A moving company in Omaha went from 29 Google clicks a month to 341 while we worked on it. The first four months were flat, and I checked Search Console most mornings waiting for the town pages to catch. Month five was the first real jump, and from September every month was higher than any month before we started. It taught me to judge the work by the plan rather than by week eight, and it is the example I point to when a new client asks how long this takes.

Why did my rankings drop this week?
Usually one of three things: Google moved, a competitor did something, or something on your side changed, like a category, a page or a batch of reviews. I work out which before I react, because chasing a normal wobble does more damage than the wobble. If it is real, you hear from me with what I am changing.
What is the first thing you look at on a new account?
Search Console. It shows what people already search for in your area that Google thinks you might answer, and the gap between impressions and clicks is the plan. After that, the Business Profile categories, then whether the site has a real page for each service.
Do you use AI to write pages?
I use it the way I use a spreadsheet: to research, structure and check. The detail that makes a city page rank, the real jobs, the drive times, the local quirks, comes from the business and from me. Google’s spam policies are clear that scaled, unoriginal pages do not work, whoever or whatever wrote them.
